Keep in mind, that Montessori slide for kids is not an ordinary children’s slide in common sense. The main purpose of the climbing board in a pikler triangle set is a baby helper to teach your baby to crawl and conquer slightly elevated path. From step to step developing baby in a play manner (with additional toys and complexity according to the baby age). We highly recommend not to enforce “the common slide” rules, but to follow baby own abilities and play options.  It’s much more valuable for a baby / toddler development. Moreover, Barin Toys climbing gyms are not slippery! They are unfinished wood or matt color finished, so the toddler can be confident in own actions! It’s the main idea of Pikler triangle. We don’t recommend to use glossy steps and/or glossy slide to force sliding. It won’t serve Montessori education idea.
